Terms and Copyright

This document explains how Exatamente News handles third-party copyright, the terms of use of the site, how to request a correction or removal, and how we handle personal data.

Terms of Use

Exatamente News is a scientific curation platform. We monitor articles, papers and academic publications and produce, from them, short news items that are our own editorial work — never a reproduction of the original text.

Access to the content is free and does not require sign-up, login or a user account.

Content is provided "as is". We do our best to ensure clarity and fidelity to the original work, but every news item includes a link to the source — when in doubt, the original source is always the reference that prevails.

Nothing published by Exatamente News constitutes medical, financial or legal advice. Content on these topics is handled with cautious language and never replaces qualified professional guidance.

The site may contain links to third-party content, such as Discord or the original publications cited. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of these third parties.

This document may be updated periodically. The version published on this page is always the one in effect.

Copyright and use of third-party content

Exatamente News does not reproduce, host or redistribute scientific articles, papers, PDFs, tables, charts or protected images belonging to third parties.

Every news item is our own editorial work: a summary written with its own language, structure and context, produced from a public reading of the original publication — never a copy of the way it was written.

Copyright protection applies to a work's form of expression, not to ideas, discoveries, methods, data or scientific facts (Brazilian Copyright Law, Lei 9.610/98, art. 8). That's why every news item is written with its own language, structure and analysis — never reproducing the way the original text was written.

This understanding guides our editorial practice and aims to reduce legal risk as much as possible, but it is not a definitive legal opinion and does not replace a formal analysis of any specific case.

Every news item credits the original authors and includes a direct link (DOI or official source) to the original publication. The goal is to direct recognition and traffic to whoever produced the research — never to replace reading the original work.

Mentions of journals, universities or institutions are for attribution and credit purposes only. They do not imply partnership, endorsement, approval or any institutional link with Exatamente News, unless explicitly stated.

Requesting a correction or removal

If you are an author, researcher, or represent an institution or journal and believe a publication by Exatamente News reproduces more content than it should, misattributes information, or should be corrected or removed, please get in touch.

To do so, send a message via Discord or email contato@exatamente-solucoes.com, describing the publication and the issue found.

We review every good-faith request and respond within a reasonable time, correcting or removing content when warranted.

Privacy

Exatamente News' institutional site does not require sign-up, login or a user account, and does not depend on storing personal data for its core functioning.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect basic technical browsing data, such as pages visited and clicks on buttons and links, only to understand how the site is used — we never sell or share this data with third parties for advertising purposes.

When you join the Discord server, handling of your data becomes governed by Discord's own terms and privacy policy.

To exercise rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) or ask questions about privacy, get in touch via Discord or email contato@exatamente-solucoes.com.
